thumb_prospace_leaf_logoProSpace’s legacy began in the early 1970s with Tom Huerkamp and his wife, Mary Lou selling office supplies and commercial furniture door to door on the Western Slope of Colorado. Back then it was all about handshakes and relationships – an ethic that serves ProSpace well to this day.

As computers began to take the place of traditional office supplies, Tom saw an opportunity to shift his business’s attention exclusively to commercial furnishings and made the bold decision to sell the office supply division and focus solely on commercial furniture, space planning, and ergonomics.

Forty years later, Tom was ready for another bold move. After decades of successful operations under the company name Office Furniture & Design Centers, Tom elected to rebrand his company and start over with a new corporate identity. Today, ProSpace Interiors is a thriving full service commercial furnishings dealer with clients across the Rocky Mountain West, specializing in healthcare, energy, and financial industries.

Conservationists at heart.

As Colorado residents and life-long outdoor sportsmen, we take our commitment to conservation seriously. We’ve always believed that anything taken from nature must be replaced. It’s that belief that urged us to create a waterfowl sanctuary on private land near ProSpace’s headquarters in Delta, Colorado. The 60-acre sanctuary was built using advanced, sustainable agricultural practices to minimize pollutants as runoff water makes its way to the Uncompahgre River. And with three protected ponds, it also serves as a peaceful area for native waterfowl and shore birds to nest and reproduce safe from predators. For a small portion of the year guided hunts are conducted there, and our team often spends time with at-risk and disabled kids to teach them about responsible hunting practices, and the importance of respecting nature.
